EL MAGO DE OZ
Every 25th of December at noon, Cadena SER - Spain’s premier radio network in terms of both seniority and audience share - broadcasts its traditional Christmas Tale. A unique radio fiction event that pays tribute to literature’s classics, involving well known screenwriters, actors, actresses and writers with the aspiration to make families come together around the radio in one of the most magical days of the year.
For the third year in a row, Cadena SER trusted Flat26 to design a creative concept for its Christmas Tale, with the aspiration to position itself as the most expected radio event of the season.
In collaboration with the talented illustrator Carlos Gallego we came up with a design that was full of metaphor and meaning to bring this year’s tale to life. Our design, as the tale (The Wizard of Oz) is a celebration of life’s obstacles and learnings.
Salumeria e Focacceria di Ruvida
Pausa & Crescente are two Italian restaurants in Lisbon that aim to fill a gap in the Portuguese market, by bringing an authentic piece of Italy to the table.
Pausa - la Salumeria di Ruvida, offers a real Italian Aperitivo experience through the highest quality and selected cheeses, cold cuts and wines. Crescente - la Focacceria di Ruvida, brings focaccia - a traditional Italian flatbread - to Portugal, with a custom recipe created by a 3rd generation Italian baker.
We were challenged to create a brand identity to convey quality and authenticity to the target audience.
We designed a fun and elegant integrated visual system composed by two logos - one for each restaurant - and multiple graphic elements, that allow a bold and witty communication with the customer.
Music and literature from Syria
Tasjeelat brings the work of Qisetna - to preserve the cultural and oral heritage of Syria in the UK - to the podcasting world. Tasjeelat literally means “record/recording” in Arabic: it refers to the audio recordings gathered by Qisetna’s team into a podcast, composed by a series of episodes featuring artists, musicians and writers from Syrian heritage in all its diversity and richness.
Storytelling for global brands
A creative, innovative, dynamic, passionate and energetic brand.
We believe that every brand has a unique story to tell, and we try to capture that message through visual storytelling.
FRAME101's mission is to help global brands capture their message/story in video. To do this, we offer a complete creative process, from pre-production (concept & strategy, script development, and planning), shooting (creative content creation), and post-production (Editing, VFX, Colour Grading & Sound Design).
Every hairdo should feel like a holiday
There are 32,000 hair salons in the UK, and only 302 cater to afro and curly hair textures. Napps is a global online marketplace for afro and curly hairdressing. It is an on- demand platform for people with an afro and curly hair to book hair appointments.
Napps aims to create a space where afro and curly hair is celebrated, embraced, represented, and served, where Napps is a symbol of empowerment and pride.
Napps challenged us to create a brand identity to reach their target audience.
We created a dynamic and vibrant logo designed to communicate a sense of confidence and good vibes. Wavy and rounded shapes combined in a way that communicate values of nature, trust, and excitement.
Pinocho
During the last two years, we have had the opportunity to work with La SER on their Christmas Tale campaign.
Last year, the selected story was Pinocho -Pinocchio- and we were challenged to create the campaign concept and visuals.
Based on Esther García Llovet's script adaptation, we proposed the concept “A Journey to identity”, understanding Pinocho’s story as the transformation process we experiment during our childhood. The change from child to teenager and from teenager to adult.
We absolutely loved the adaptation.
Inspired Living
Giselle is an entrepreneur woman. A marketing director full of positive energy and good vibes, an authentic mix of loves and passions, who creates intelligent content with the purpose of encouraging women to invest in themselves, from indulgent self-care to intrepid business ventures. She needs an online presence to connect with potential clients.
Cadena SER
FLAT26 added the perfect touch of freshness to La SER's visual summer programming.
Every year, Cadena SER maintains its commitment to variety, originality and quality of content and voices with a summer programme that aims to refresh, accompany and make listeners enjoy this special summer.
A film by Juan delGado
Drifting Narratives is a film trilogy created by the interdisciplinary artist Juan delGado.
He challenged FLAT26 to create a site that gathered his three film projects. The first of all was ‘In The Shadow of the Midnight Sun’, a creative documentary presented through the eyes of a Syrian refugee.
By turning scenes from the film into video loops, endowing the texts with movement and adding the function to play with overlapping layers, we created an interactive website with plenty of dynamic images from the film. The final result reflects the idea of displacement, which is the main concept of the film Drifting Narratives.
El podcastinar se va a acabar
Cadena SER is the most listened to radio station in Spain with around 4.5 million listeners. They have been making podcasts of their programmes for years to reach a wider audience but without placing much emphasis on them, simply so that their listeners could listen to them on tape. Seeing the opportunity to reach a new, younger target audience with very different tastes through podcasts, they have decided to go for podcasts and create a new line of service that is younger, more dynamic and innovative.
Beauty is in your soul
A hair salon that uses the most powerful mineral deserves a brand identity that keeps up with the high quality of its services.
When Patricia contacted us, we thought her business was a traditional hairdresser, looking for new younger clients. Asking and listening to her story, values, goals, and philosophy, we discovered the Shungit, the USP (Unique Selling Point) of the business.
The research we did about Shungit, competitors and Patricia’s references, allowed us a total understanding of the business and an absolute involvement. The objective: give Patrizia’s identity a 180º turnaround.
Talking Syria
Qisetna preserves the cultural and oral heritage of Syria, one story at a time.
Qisetna aims to preserve the cultural and oral heritage of Syria by encouraging Syrian citizens and refugees to share their stories about Syria from a non-political or non-religious point of view. Qisetna challenged FLAT26 to create a new brand identity and an accessible and attractive website. A bilingual website with a user-friendly CMS.
Qisetna’s main pain point was a website that appeared to be last updated 10 years ago, but was in fact updated on a daily basis and always has fresh content. Accessibility was another issue, people wanted to read the stories on their phones.
El Amor en los Tiempos del Cólera
As every year, Cadena SER prepares for the broadcast of the Christmas tale, on this occasion, we were called upon to design the entire communication campaign, from the art direction to the proposal and social media strategy. The story chosen by Cadena SER team was "Love in the Time of Cholera", a brilliant adaptation by Pablo Remón directed by Ana Alonso, and a luxury cast with the voices of José Sacristán and Susi Sánchez, among others. Here is the result of our work.
